Just saw gynae/onco guy. He told me he had nothing to say to me and I might as well just go away.

We talked about whether I should swap to an aromatase inhibitor instead of the tamoxifen, but it seems that would make my joint problems even worse, and since I don't have a uterus to worry about there would be no good reason to change.

Today it is three years since my last chemotherapy.

My hair is way longer than it was when I had it cut really short before the first dose. Someday I will have to get it trimmed, at least I suppose.

I'm starting to lose the weight that I put on while I ate my way through chemo.

I should probably pop up over here to say that all is finally well here and we are safely in our new house, surrounded by alimony stuff and many many boxes.

There wasn't so much drama in the end, we got the keys on the day we needed them, even though we didn't officially buy the house until a week later.

So, 24 hours on and I'm feeling prett good I think.

It snowed last night, and right now i'm out of bed sitting in a chair looking at the snow on the mountains. And the traffic is choc a bloc out there. We don't usually see much of rush hour in our little corner of the city.

Took ages to esxape from the hospital. Doctor gave me leave to go at 6. Bill and the boys arrived about 6.40. Then we had to wait for disxharge papers, then we ended up waiting 40 for a wheelchair to take me away. I'm fweling ok, but we were a very long way from the carpark, and besides i'd have to sign a release form to leave under my own steam.

Yep, got here at 8.30, went for a nap at 11.15, woke up an hour later.

Feeling a bit sore, to be honest. All they gave me was paracetamol, so i must not have complained enough!

I've had my lunch and been allowed up to the loo.

Doctor due to see me in about an hour and a half, he'll tell me when i'm allowed to go home.

Thomas made a card for some new friends a few weeks ago when they moved into their house. We haven't seen the kids since, so yesterday when their mum was here I gave it to her to take home.
